Richard Nixon and Donald Trump are very comparable figures in American politics. Richard Nixon was a vice president during the 1950s and president during the 1970s. Donald Trump was just elected as president in 2016. Richard and Donald share similarities in many areas including personality, views, and tactics.


Richard Nixon was Dwight Eisenhower’s vice president from 1953 to 1961. Nixon served as vice president under the republican party. Nixon later became president of the United States from 1969 to his resignation in 1974. Nixon was known as a complex person that was very controversial among the American people.


Donald Trump is the newly elected president of the United States. Trump will be serving as president under the republican party. Trump was previously a very successful entrepreneur and huge public spectacle. Trump is a person that is either loved or hated with few people falling in the middle, similar to Richard Nixon


Richard Nixon was considered one of the shrewdest figure in politics. Nixon was a very smart and decisive man that knew what the right decision was and had what it took to make these decisions. Nixon cared little of how others thought of him.
