The 1950s was an era of change for many aspects of our country such as the view of women, the rise general motor and families buying Ford vehicles, and housing in the suburbs. During this time period, many people moved out of the cities and settled with their families into the quiet suburbs. This was the beginning of the housing boom in the 1950s and Levitt’s mass production of houses for suburban communities. Women were expanding their role in society in the 1950s and they have evolved exponentially in modern day times.

 

The Ford trucks have been utilized by families from the 1950s to modern day.
