Lydia Kitahara describes her experience as an out-of-status immigrant as one of the hardest things she had ever had to go through. From not being allowed to get a cell phone under her name to not being able to apply to the college she wanted, Kitahara’s life was definitely very difficult. However, her journey led her to the place she is now, helping others adjust their status in the U.S.
