Angy Rivera’s life has been mostly lived in the U.S. She was born in Colombia, but was brought to this country at the age of 3 and has been raised and living here ever since. At first, it was advised to her to keep her situation a secret and to not tell anyone. However, Rivera does not let her immigrant status stop her and becomes an activist by participating in strikes on the street of New York as well as by sharing her story through her blog, YouTube account, and the creation of this documentary. She seeks to empower undocumented immigrants to protests and demand the right to recognition of their unique situation; the right to have rights. This documentary goes from her young ages fearing deportation to the present where she was able to obtain a visa and stay in the U.S.
