Seth Godin’s TED Talk Explains How to Get Your Ideas to Spread

Seth Godin’s TED Talk Explains How to Get Your Ideas to Spread

Monterey, CA (February 2003) – Seth Godin is an American author, marketer, entrepreneur, and public speaker who provides an interesting insight on how to get your ideas to spread in the digital era. He starts off by giving a brief history of how ideas used to spread with examples from, creating sliced bread and up until the time that TV was invented.

Today’s society has too many options for competition and not enough time to notice them all. Seth says to become successful with having your ideas spread you need to make them as remarkable as possible. Make your ideas so vibrant and interesting that people stop and actually take in the information instead of skipping over it. He mentions to target the innovators in life because they are the ones who actually want to listen and they will spread the word “In a world of too many options and too little time, our obvious choice is to just ignore the ordinary stuff.”
