Using Safari Browser with Foliotek

If you use the Safari web browser to access Foliotek, you may have an issue when trying to activate a new account or connect to your existing account. If you already have an existing account and are prompted to create a new account, please do not create a new account.

To resolve this issue, use a different browser (e.g., Firefox or Chrome) to access Foliotek or change the cookie settings in Safari by following the steps below.

Safari 8.0

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Go to Preferences.
  3. Select Privacy.
  4. Select “Always Allow” next to Cookies and Website Data.
  5. Close the preferences window and try to access Foliotek through Blackboard.

Safari 7.0 and Earlier

  1. Open Safari.
  2. Go to Preferences.
  3. Select Privacy.
  4. Change the default Block Cookies to Never.
  5. Close Safari, reopen, and try to access Foliotek through Blackboard.
