How to Start a Telepresence Session in Crummer B10

  1. Log in to the podium computer using your FoxID and password.
  2. Click on the Rollins WebEx shortcut on the desktop.Chrome Shortcut for WebEx
    1. If you are connecting a laptop to the podium, open Chrome and go to (Chrome is the preferred browser when using WebEx.)
    2. You may be prompted to install the WebEx extension.
  3. Log in to WebEx using your WebEx username and password.
  4. Access the WebEx meeting (e.g., previously scheduled or a My WebEx Personal room).
  5. Click the Start Meeting button.Step 6
  6. Select Call My Video System.
    1. If you do not see this option, click on More Options under Audio and Video Connection or Call Using Computer.

  7. In the box beneath “Enter your video address” type
  8. On the touchpad, tap the green Answer button.
  9. On the touch pad, tap the camera icon in the top right of the screen.Step 11
  10. Select the camera mode you would like to use for the session:
    1. Tap Presenter to have the back camera focus on the speaker in the front of the room.
    2. Toggle Speaker tracking on or off.
    3. When Speaker tracking is on, the cameras focus on whomever is talking in the room.Step 12
  11. To display content from podium computer , tap Share on the touchpad and then Share in the Podium box. Step 13
  12. To change the view on the confidence monitor on the back wall, tap Selfview and select maximize or minimize.

  3. Tap the Share button and then Share in the Podium box (see step 11 above).
