Questions For McFarland

Questions: During the Progressive Era Americans from all walks of life were concerned about their environment. While we often characterize their activism through a lens of movement culture, the reality is that Progressive Era reformers were often motivate by complex locale concerns. For reformers “on the ground” looking for inspiration in the early twentieth century, they looked to public figures and organization for inspiration.
